Seven years ago, I lit my first cigar. Like many, I started with flavored ones just, testing the waters. But it didn’t take long before my taste evolved. Every stick told a story. The strength. The blend. The wrapper. It all mattered.
Weekend rounds of golf with the fellas, laughs, conversations, and a box of hand-picked cigars, those were the moments that shaped my palate. That’s when I fell in love with the Habano wrapper. And I started developing a deep respect for the richness of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos.
But something shifted. I wasn’t just smoking cigars anymore; I was studying them. The craft of blending, the art of pairing, the patience in perfecting the profile… it lit a fire in me I hadn’t felt in years.
You see, for 14 years I poured my heart into teaching and coaching. I gave it everything until one day, the passion just wasn’t there anymore. I transitioned into real estate and found that spark again.
Cigars brought me that same feeling. That drive. That purpose.
Matured Legacy Cigars was born out of that purpose.
This isn’t just a cigar brand; it’s a reflection of my journey. Every blend is intentional. Every stick is crafted with care. From sourcing the leaf to refining the flavor, I obsess over the details. But what drives me most isn’t just the process; it’s watching someone light up a cigar we’ve created, sit back, and truly enjoy the moment.
